Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is taking chances with her relationship, Mac Scorpio (John J. York) has shocking news, and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) has a clandestine meeting.
Brook Lynn and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) talk about future plans and no doubt his missing detective work comes up. Brook Lynn had ignored several texts from Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about letters regarding his reinstatement at the PCPD, and was taking chances with their relationship.
Brook Lynn has been totally focused on making Chase the next singing superstar while he’d give up this music career in a heartbeat, and he’s said so.
She asks Chase what if he didn’t retire after all of this, but is she talking about the PCPD or his singing career? If Chase could go back to his police career that would be the chance he’d jump at, no matter how much money he could make in music.
Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) practically jumps down his brother’s throat as he tells him he hates secrets, and it sounds like Mac has some shocking news. Mac recently took a DNA test with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) to see if the two of them indeed are father and son, both a little nervous about the outcome.
This may be the shocking news that has long been a secret that Mac has for Robert; that he has a son he never knew about.
Years ago Mac was involved with Cody’s mother, Dominique Stanton (Shell Danielson) and when Cody came to Port Charles and told who his mother was, it brought up lots of questions. Perhaps now there are some answers to those questions and of course Mac would tell Robert he’s got a nephew.
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) have an important meeting, and it sounds like Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) has a disagreement.
It looks like the argument takes place in the Metro Court, likely upstairs where several Port Charles businesses have their offices, including Deception Cosmetics.
Sasha is upset as she tries to explain to Gladys that what she and Maxie are doing is for the best; Gladys clearly thinks it’s not.
Considering Deception’s co-owner Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is missing and presumed dead, it could have something to do with that. Perhaps they’re needing to see where the company goes from there legally.
It’s highly likely that the argument Gladys and Sasha are having has to do with something pertaining to Deception Cosmetics. While they’re arguing, Maxie now is meeting with Attorney Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) who’s obviously recovered from her attack by the hook killer and is back at work.
Maxie wants to know if Diane is okay with something, and if it’s something she’s open to; Diane looks like she’s carefully considering the option.
If this is not about Deception it could be about someone other than Gladys being Sasha’s guardian, that would be upsetting to Gladys.
Victor is outside in the dark, obviously having a clandestine meeting with someone, as he asks about some news they have for him.
This doesn’t bode well for Holly Sutton, (Emma Samms) who had called someone and told them Robert is interfering and trying to get Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) another hearing.
Holly has been acting suspicious, such as when she claimed she tried to call her son on Robert’s cell phone and couldn’t reach Ethan Sutton (Nathan Parsons).
Instead, she’d activated “do not disturb” on Robert’s cell phone which he’d let her use. It sounds like Holly’s working with Victor, possibly unwillingly.
At Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) home, Carly, Josslyn Jacks, (Eden McCoy) Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) have been discussing the hook case.
Jordan had told them that the hook killer hadn’t targeted Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) when he was killed, and Josslyn had been the target. Trina quickly put together that all the victims were connected to her, and Jordan said there was new evidence. Josslyn is nervous as she wants to know from Jordan what that new evidence is.
As for Trina’s mom, Portia Robinson, (Brook Kerr) she’s with her fiancé Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and it looks like they’re discussing something important. Portia and Curtis change their plans as an excited Curtis tells Portia “Let’s do it”!
It sounds like they may be eloping instead of planning the big wedding they were talking about.
Curtis and Portia may be realizing with a serial killer loose in Port Charles tomorrow’s not promised for anyone. So, they appear to be taking the plunge and getting married now.
