General Hospital Spoilers: Could Britt’s Necklace Contain The Real Ice Princess?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that the diamond and ruby necklace left to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) might contain the real Ice Princess diamond. There have been numerous fake Ice Princess diamonds showing up over the years, and Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) could have easily stolen it, therefore winding up in his son’s hands.

General Hospital Spoilers – Easier To Hide Divided Up

The large diamond would have been much easier to hide divided up and made into a necklace, and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) may have heard of the necklace. This could be the whole reason for his interest in Britt, although he didn’t try to take it when they went to open Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) safe deposit box. Even though Cody’s birth father may indeed wind up being Mac Scorpio (John J. York) he believed he was Leopold Taub (Chip Lucia) who was in a cartel with Faison.

Other members of that long ago cartel were Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) and Harlan Barrett (Michael Cole). Paul was Dillon Quartermaine’s (Robert Palmer Watkins) father while Harlan was Brenda Barrett’s (Vanessa Marcil) and her sister Julia Barrett’s (Crystal Carson) father.

GH Spoilers – Cesar Faison Was Known To Work With The Cassadines

Faison was known to have worked with the Cassadines, and could have stolen the diamond and had it made into a necklace in order to hide it. Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) may have thought he’d gotten the real thing when Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) planted it in Jennifer Smith’s (Holly Gagnier) hotel safe.

It was confiscated by WSB agents likely loyal to Victor, but fooling Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) at the time because she knew one of them. Lulu Spencer (most recently Emme Rylan) had been sent one fake Ice Princess at one time, and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) may have had a fake as well. It’s understandable how something so important may have had several impostor pieces made out of protection of the real one.

General Hospital Spoilers – Danger Lurks

If Victor gets even an inkling of a clue that Britt has the Ice Princess in a necklace then danger lurks and she’ll have a target on her back. She hired Sam McCall, (Kelly Monaco) herself a Cassadine relative, to trace the owner of the necklace or where it may have originated. Neither Cody nor Britt trusted that Peter would not have stolen it somewhere, although it may have been Britt and Peter’s father who was the true thief.

It’s doubtful that either Victor or Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) would have had the diamond cut up and made into a necklace. However, Faison may have only known of the monetary value and not the history of the weather control machine, so he’s probably the one who had the necklace made.
