General Hospital spoilers tease Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will soon be sweating bullets over whether or not the secret she planned to take to her own grave will come out on its own. It hasn’t been a terribly long time since Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) lost her mother, but Carly hasn’t been worried about Willow finding out Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is her mother because no one else knows the truth.

However, if Willow goes poking around in her past and looking for records or someone who used to know Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel), she just might turn up clues that point back to Nina.

Now that the dust has settled, it will make sense to everyone that Willow might be interested in knowing where she came from before she gives birth to her own child.

Even though Willow and Michael are transparent with their family about her new search for her birth parents, they aren’t telling anyone why they’ve chosen now to start such a search just yet. Willow wants more time to digest what’s happening and start treatment before the whole Spencer/Corinthos/Quartermaine clan descends on her with love. Who could blame her?

Still, since they’re keeping everyone in the dark, it will leave Carly baffled as to why Willow has suddenly had a change of heart. All this time, she’s let herself off the hook for keeping Harmony secret, and she’s been okay with it since Willow explicitly said she didn’t want to find her mother because it would probably turn out to be someone like Nina.
