Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) have been acting like two teenagers all year. They shared their first kiss back in the winter and then spent the next few months debating about what that kiss meant while wondering if they should text the other.

Finally, at the Q barbecue in August, they actually admitted their feelings for one another, but somehow they decided not to make their relationship sexual despite being two consenting adults in their 30s.

Well, all that changes when Chase and BLQ hit the sheets this week after a fun date night where they try to forget their troubles and Chase tries to forget that he really just wants to be a cop again and not a singer with Brook Lynn managing him. Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) knows this, but Brook does not.

By the end of the night, Chase doesn’t want to talk about music, police work, careers, or anything else. According to General Hospital spoilers, one thing Chase does not know is that Brook Lynn deleted an email from Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) regarding a letter of recommendation at Chase’s reinstatement hearing to get his job back at the PCPD. That kind of secret can kill a relationship that is supposed to be based on honesty.

Having Chase and Brook Lynn make love just after Brook Lynn pulled such a sneaky and dirty move feels like a slap in the face to Chalynn fans who have waited so long for this moment. There is now a secret between them that Chase won’t get over so easily when the truth finally comes out.
