General Hospital Spoilers: Britt Resigns, Terry Shocked

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will resign and her Co-Chief Of Staff Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) will be shocked. Britt has kept very tight lipped about her health condition even to human resources at the hospital, and no doubt Terry will want more information.

General Hospital Spoilers – Time To Complete A Bucket List

Britt certainly wants more time to complete a bucket list and wants to do all the things she never did before she deteriorates to the point that she can’t. The only other person who works for GH that knows about it is her friend and colleague Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) who had noticed her symptoms and made a referral. The specialist, who Austin knew well made a special trip down from Canada where she was holding a seminar to Port Charles where she checked her out.

Unfortunately, Britt found that her Huntington’s Disease was much further advanced than she had thought it was. She is already into the last stage, and it’s all going downhill from this point.

GH Spoilers – Even Her Best Friend Doesn’t Know

Even Britt’s best friend, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) doesn’t know the truth about her dire diagnosis, although he was taken aback that she was celebrating her birthday. He was even more taken aback that she was talking about her will and that he would be her heir, but she never let on that she was seriously ill.

He too, will be shocked when he finds out that she’s resigned from the hospital, and he’ll likely find out at her birthday party, which also may be her big goodbye. It’s very likely that she will leave Port Charles, possibly on a long trip but she’ll be a tourist this time instead of a fugitive. Her mother, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) may travel with her, not wanting her daughter to deteriorate alone.

General Hospital Spoilers – Dr. Terry Randolph Blindsided

According to GH spoilers, when Britt turns in her resignation to her Co-Chief Of Staff, Terry is bound to ask some questions, because Britt’s never given clues that she wasn’t happy with her job. They didn’t get along at all at first, but since that time have maintained a professional, and one could even say a caring relationship. They are far from best buddies but they each react with empathy when noticing one has had something bad happen.

Britt may or may not tell Terry the truth about her reasons for resigning or that she’s leaving town, but perhaps Terry’s noticed some symptoms and calls her on it. Britt might admit she’s inherited her late father’s fatal disease and wants to make the best of the time she has left.
