GH spoilers reveal that on the Friday, September 16 episode, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) spoke to Portia about Brando. Sonny wanted to know Brando’s chances. Even though Portia couldn’t guarantee anything, she did admit to being cautiously optimistic.

Brando is young and healthy, which goes in his favor. However, the surgery was also complicated and there is always a risk of infection.

After Brando’s surgery, Sasha went in to see him. Sasha cried, begged and apologized to Brando as he lay unconscious. However, Brando started to open his eyes. Even though Brando is on a ventilator, opening his eyes is a very good sign.

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Brando might be on the road to recovery. However, his survival still isn’t guaranteed. On the cover of the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, the tagline teased that one of several characters would die. In the photo on the cover, Brando was one of the characters shown.

There is also the fact that Brando’s scenes at Charlie’s seemed like an ending. Brando had several good moments with his loved ones. Generally, these things indicate that it might be one final goodbye.

It is hinted that Portia will consult with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). Then, Portia and Finn will speak with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper). It is teased that there will be a shocking and unexpected discovery.

The first hook attack didn’t kill Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West). So, could the killer have done something to the hook to make sure Brando would die? If the injury didn’t kill Brando, then maybe a poisonous layer on it is secretly going through his system.

There is also the spoiler that during the week of September 19, Sonny will deal with a difficult death. So, we will have to keep watching to see what happens with this storyline.
