General Hospital spoilers reveals Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) has been keeping her distance from Wyndemere. The pain Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) has caused her hasn’t exactly made Ava feel like rushing back to confront it all. She’s been hiding from the reality of her crumbling marriage at Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) condo, long past her body healing from being attacked by The Hook. Rumor has it, she’s going to think about returning to the castle soon to work on her marriage, and she might regret it as soon as she gets there.

General Hospital Spoilers — Nikolas Cassadine Isn’t Alone

Of course, Ava has been under the impression that her time away from the castle has forced Nikolas to roam its halls alone, longing for his wife to come home. The truth is, Nikolas has made Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) a kept woman. Alright, maybe she’s more like a hostage, but Ava isn’t going to be happy either way. Does Nikolas stand a chance at convincing Ava it’s in his and her own best interest to keep Esme locked up?

Now that Nina has confronted Ava about her hesitancy to move back home — or face the reality of deciding not to ever again — Ava is going to revisit the idea of working on her marriage. When she shows up at Wyndemere hoping to find a way back to her loving husband, Nikolas is going to hesitate to embrace her. Noticing how that could quickly make Ava renege on her offer to work things out, Nikolas will feel he has no choice but to encourage his wife’s decision to move home, reconciling to himself that he can figure out the situation with Esme later. How will he ever hide the two women from one another?

General Hospital Spoilers — Ava Jerome Discovers Her Nemesis In Her House

Eventually, Ava will stumble upon the north tower and what it holds. It will bring her to her knees and make her question any decision she ever made to give loving Nikolas another chance. The fury she will feel is going to be above and beyond what she’s been used to with Nikolas’ other betrayal. This will be the final nail in the coffin that is their marriage.

So yes, Ava is going to find Esme in the north tower, but the kicker is that we don’t know if that will be anytime soon. In fact, Ava might end up rooming with Esme for some time while being completely unaware of their cohabitation. Wyndemere is a big place. For some time, Nikolas is going to be able to convince Esme to keep quiet and stay out of the way.

It’s not clear whether he will tell Esme that Ava is back and that’s why she must keep quiet. Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy) is also moving into Wyndemere, and it’s possible Nikolas could convince Esme to be quiet so Victor doesn’t catch on — all the while serving the same purpose to keep Ava in the dark.
