General Hospital Spoilers: Anna Makes Disturbing Discovery

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will finally realize that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is being blackmailed by his father.  Anna has always known that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) was duplicitous and untrustworthy, but even she is shocked to realize he’s stooped this low.

General Hospital Spoilers – Anna Devane Suspicious

Anna has been suspicious of Valentin and has been determined to find out why he lied about when he left the rehab facility where he’d been recovering from a serious infection. Valentin had been kidnapped by Victor and left in the trunk of his SUV several days, then dumped in an alley. But Valentin never told Anna or anyone that it was Victor who kidnapped him and he’s never told Victor put his daughter Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McClain) in boarding school either.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Valentin hasn’t been allowed contact with his daughter, and has been lying that he put her there to protect her from Victor. Charlotte herself has been Victor’s leverage to control and to force him to do his bidding, and no one’s known including Charlotte; Victor’s been faking letters to her from Papa.

GH Spoilers – He Knows She’s Suspicious

Valentin knows Anna’s suspicious, but he has been afraid to tell her what’s going on; that could put her in danger. It’s bad enough that Charlotte could be in danger and he’s helpless to do anything about it; he doesn’t trust Victor any further than he could throw him. At this point, he’s tempted to take him over to Wyndemere Castle and throw him off a parapet but he’s been banned from the property by Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). Valentin has had to play a game of cat and mouse with Anna in their relationship for months, and he’s getting about fed up with it. Valentin knows he’s in over his head with his duplicitous birth father, and even that is not for sure – they’ve never had that paternity test done.

General Hospital Spoilers – Over The Edge

Something happens that puts Valentin over the edge as far as Victor is concerned, and he knows that he has to be taken down. Victor had demanded Valentin take action to keep Nikolas and Ava Cassadine (Maura West) in line and asked for his help, but Valentin had refused. Now Valentin suspects Victor called for the attack on Ava or even attacked her himself, and he is nearly in tears and Anna realizes he’s being controlled or blackmailed.

Valentin knew Victor could be ruthless, but could he really be capable of that kind of attack? Valentin is upset and concerned Ava could die but he was with Anna during the time the attack was thought to happen; and Anna realizes he’s afraid.

GH Spoilers – Spill The Tea

Anna asks Valentin if he thinks Victor might be responsible for the attack on Ava, and the look on his face says it all. Valentin admits to Anna that Victor had asked for his help in getting Nikolas and Ava in line, but nothing else. He says Victor didn’t give him any particulars, and they had been interrupted before he could ask him what he meant by their “being out of line”.

Anna suspects, but doesn’t ask Valentin if he’s being blackmailed or controlled by Victor but she’s pretty sure he is. Anna’s suspicions that he’s being blackmailed answer many questions she’s had about Valentin’s behavior, and she’s determined to get to the bottom of it.
