General Hospital Sneak Peek: Sasha’s Big Decision

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Sneak Peek that Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattson) has a huge decision to make. Will she allow Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) to move forward with the proposed guardianship, or will she decide to go to trial?

General Hospital Spoilers – A Pre-Trial Meeting

Brando, Sasha, and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) are in a meeting room with a legal representative (uncredited actor) in the absence of her attorney, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight). Brando and Sasha had previously met with a staff therapist at the hospital, a Dr. Rubin (uncredited actor) who had recommended that Sasha submit to a guardianship by Brando and therapy. This had been Martin’s idea prior to having to leave Port Charles to care for his mother, feeling that the judge would be more sympathetic to Sasha’s issues and situation.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Sasha is facing hard prison time if she doesn’t take this deal and previously, she had rebelled against the idea of Brando controlling her and her life and decisions. She is being charged with destruction of property and possibly attempted murder of Grant Smoltz (David Lautman) after she destroyed his car with a valet sign.

GH Spoilers – The Deal Was Approved

Gladys, Brando and Sasha sit in the meeting room and the representative tells them the judge already reviewed Dr. Rubin’s recommendation and the legal documents, which Sasha will have to sign. He tells Brando that he will be in charge of his wife’s finances and medical care, and be her power of attorney, the judge having agreed to the guardianship. There will be no prison time as long as Sasha agrees to it and attends outpatient therapy and rehabilitation for her addiction issues; noting that is very important. The representative tells Sasha that once she’s entered into the guardianship only Brando can terminate it and asks if she understands. Brando takes Sasha’s hand and looks at her and tells her it’s up to her, if she’s not comfortable with it they won’t do it.

General Hospital Spoilers – Decisions, Decisions

Gladys interrupts and reminds Brando if Sasha doesn’t take the deal she’ll go to prison, he says she still has an option to take a plea and go to trial. Brando looks at Sasha and asks her if she understands, and she shakes her head yes, although she looks afraid. Brando then asks Sasha what does she want to do, given options of agreeing to the guardianship and the therapy and rehab or a trial, taking her chances with a jury.

Sasha looks at the papers that she would have to sign, considering the guardianship or the jury trial; it’s a tough decision. She looks over the legal documents that she would have to sign for the guardianship.
