General Hospital News: Robert Adamson Takes Over For Chad Duell As Michael Corinthos

General Hospital comings and goings say that fans are about to see a change of face. There are new reports that say The Young and the Restless alum Robert Adamson, who is best known for his role as Noah on the show, will be filling in for Chad Duell as Michael Corinthos for the next few weeks. Here’s what he has to say.

While no one knows exactly why Chad is taking time off from work or why Robert is filling in for him, General Hospital star Cameron Mathison, who plays Drew, says that Robert is off to a great start. He told the publication, “Obviously, he’s a seasoned vet, but he came in to some big, heavy days [and] Robert did a great job. He’s a fun guy with a really good attitude.”

Needless to say, many General Hospital fans sure had a lot to say about this sudden but also quite surprising move. Some comments included, “He’s definitely easy on the eyes. Can’t give an opinion when he’s temporarily taking over for an actor who has been in the role for over a decade – no really fair to judge in such a situation. No one likes a replacement on day 1,” along with, “While I do like Chad Duell as Michael, I have been asking for Robert Adamson to be cast as Michael forever, and I am so happy he is in the role!”

Another General Hospital fan said, “I haven’t watched yet but I know who Robert is and I liked him on Y&R. I wouldn’t have thought of him as a replacement just because he is so differently than Chad. It would have been neat if they had Drew Garrett fill in for him but that might have been too touchy. Side note. I think Cynthia Watros should play Amber Heard in the Johnny Depp movie. She looks just like her and Cynthia is familiar with courtroom scenes.”

So far General Hospital producers have not made any comments about the matter. With that said, General Hospital fans will have to tune in to find out what happens next!
