Anywho, news broke today that Alley Mills (Pam Douglas, The Bold the Beautiful) is coming on board the PC train, with her character’s identity a mystery at the moment. Some fans think Mills could turn out to be Esme’s nanny, Maggie Fitzgerald. That would make perfect sense although at this point it is pure speculation.

Right now Esme’s bio father, Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), is languishing in a facility for the demented and drooling. So why not bring on someone who she can actually interact with, seeing as how she has burned all of her friend-bridges?

SOD reported today that legendary actress Alley Mills has joined the cast of GH and will debut later this month. Time will tell if she turns out to be Maggie Fitzgerald.

How would Maggie move this story forward? For one thing she could help Esme figure out who her bio mom is, if Maggie doesn’t already know—she could be keeping this info to herself. If the mother turns out to be someone in Port Charles, New York, the drama would be even more delicious and lead to major ramifications.
