General Hospital Anna Asks Robert For Help, Can She Keep Valentin’s Secret?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will turn to her former WSB partner and ex Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) for help to free Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McLain). But will she be able to keep Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) secret in order to get him help?

General Hospital Spoilers – Hates Cassadines

Robert has hated Cassadines going back years, but when it comes to a child, and especially when she’s half Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) he’d gladly make an exception. Where it will be tricky for Anna is to get the help she needs from Robert without bringing Valentin and his secret into it. Valentin expressly told her no police or WSB could be involved, because if Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) found out, he would hurt Charlotte, or worse.

However, if Victor could be proven guilty of a new crime committed since getting his immunity deal, his deal could be revoked. That is only one facet of what Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) was trying to get accomplished, in addition to deportation for moral turpitude.

GH Spoilers – Suspected, Not Proven Guilty

The problems that everyone who wants to take down Victor has is he’s suspected of many crimes, in some even directly involved, but no one’s been able to prove it. Anna, Laura, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and Robert all know Jennifer Smith (Holly Gagnier) was framed in Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) death.

But when Anna and Felicia found those responsible in Austria for sabotaging the cable car, one fled, and another committed suicide, making a vow to some unknown entity. The assumption is that they were under the orders of Victor, and knew what they’d face if they implicated him. Valentin’s quandary proves as much, considering he was kidnapped and kept in the back of Victor’s SUV and then Charlotte was kidnapped shortly after he was found.

General Hospital Spoilers – An Anonymous Source

Even though Robert is suspicious that she may be talking about Valentin, Anna cites an anonymous source who is willing to testify to new crimes by Victor once he’s in custody. A kidnapped child is at risk, and she must be safe before anything goes down and Victor is behind the kidnapping. Robert asks if the anonymous source is the child’s parent and she answers yes, and the parent is being blackmailed with threats to the child.

Robert, by his questions, tips off Anna that he’s figured it all out in spite of Anna’s attempted discretion. But he doesn’t name names and considering the elder Cassadine is threatening his own, he won’t go into specifics and he’ll help however he can.
