EastEnders Star Jacqueline Jossa Breaks Silence On Lauren’s Return For Dot’s funeral

EastEnders spoilers, news, and updates tease that Jacqueline Jossa has opened up about Lauren Branning’s upcoming return to Walford. The actress is reprising her role for Dot Branning’s (June Brown) emotional farewell.
It’s been four years since she left the show and the actress talked about what it’s like to come back after all this time. Jossa admitted that she felt nervous because being at EastEnders was always a big thing for her.

But her anxiety and fear went away she arrived at the set. Nothing has changed and she felt as though she was back home.

“The two episodes are very emotional from top to bottom because there are so many layers,” Jossa said.

She added that her character is still the same but just a bit older. She teased that her character’s return will provide fans with some updates about the other members of the Branning family.

“Hopefully, Lauren coming home is something positive and light. Obviously, Lauren is upset to lose Grandma Dot, but it’s a bittersweet feeling to be back,” the actress shared.

Jossa revealed that she hoped to be part of the special tribute for the late June Brown. She’s extremely happy to be involved in the emotional send-off that EastEnders has prepared for her co-star.

Other characters who will be returning for the special scenes are Lord Michael Cashman (Colin Russell), Gary Hailes (Barry Clark), Jan Graveson (Disa O’Brien), and Tom Watt (Lofty Holloway).

She felt lucky to have been able to work with June as well as with other stars such as Jo Joyner and Jake Wood. They all served as massive inspirations in her life and she learned almost everything from the links of them.
She described Brown as someone who was kind and brilliant. People listened to her because she always made the right choices.

EastEnders – Laura Branning To Clash With Linda Carter

Spoilers hint that once Laura Branning returns on December 13, she will have a heated confrontation with Linda Carter (Kellie Bright). The latter is terrified that her secret, which involved having a child with Max Branning (Jake Wood), Lauren’s dad, will be exposed. Lauren rips Linda for breaking her father’s heart but the question is if Linda will tell her about her child.
