EastEnders spoilers, news, and updates tease that Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) will make a shocking discovery during the holiday season. What will he find out, and how will he react?

Fans know that Phil has been away since October. During his absence, Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) has been trying to win Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) over. He has made several plans for the holiday season, but Phil’s return will jeopardize everything. Despite that, Alfie is still determined to create Christmas magic for his family. So he dresses up as Santa and goes to the roof of the Mitchell house.

But when Phil returns, he becomes furious after learning from Bert that Kat told Alfie that he could stay until the New Year. Phil goes outside to cool his head off. When he looks up, he finds someone stuck on the roof, and it’s no other than Alfie. Phil disappears, leaving Kat worried about what’s going on.

Later on, Sam will be shocked to see Phil doing something at Peggy’s. Nevertheless, she’ll try to convince him to give Kat another chance. As Phil thinks about what to do next, Kat makes a confession after Christmas. She’ll also make an admission that she ranted about what was happening, and some people may have heard it. Fans have to wait and see how Phil will react and if he’s willing to give her another shot.

Meanwhile, Shane Richie talks about Kat and Alfie’s growing closeness.

“Alfie is full of hope, thinking that he and Kat are on the verge of being an item again. But he’s got his head in the clouds, and Kat tells him in no uncertain terms that he means nothing to her. But Alfie won’t have it!” Shane shared, revealing the dynamics of the love triangle,” he said.

“He still believes that Kat has feelings for him, and it’s not until Phil comes back that things take a dark turn,” he added.

Richie also said that Alfie would be disappointed when Kat changes her mind and said he can’t stay with them during the holidays. Although Alfie can spend the festivities in other places, he prefers to be with Kat. So, he plans to surprise Kat and the kids by dressing up as Santa. But things won’t go the way he wants.

Others may say that Alfie should just give up. But he loves Kat so much that he’s desperate to win her back at all costs because she’s the love of his life.
