EastEnders Spoilers: Jaz Deol Opens Up About Gray And Kheerat’s Showdown

EastEnders spoilers and updates tease that Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) and Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol) will have a big showdown. Jaz Deol, the actor playing the role of Kheerat, opened up about it in a recent interview.

Fans may recall that Kheerat has been trying to prove that Gray murdered his wife Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummber). However, the police declined to pursue the case so he decided to take matters into his own hands. He tried to spook Gray by sending him emails from his dead wife.

Gray manages to uncover that the person behind the spooky emails he’s been getting is no other than Kheerat. He invites him for dinner but does Kheerat have an idea about what he’s getting himself into? Does he know that Gray has uncovered his secret?

When asked if Kheerat knows what he’s getting himself into, Deo argues that his alter ego has kept a close eye on Gray for more than a year. He defends his character’s action and says he likes playing chess carefully.

“So on some level, he does know, but is he using it as leverage to get Gray to confess? It’s a showdown worth watching because of the natural build-up and stakes between these two men,” the actor said.

Deol also described the new storyline as the “best pieces of writing” he’s encountered during his time on the show. He added that filming the show was both “exciting and nerve-wracking.”

He’s grateful for being part of this storyline, which is by far the biggest scene he’s done in his professional acting career.

“It feels complete and honest. It’s something I do believe that the audience will engage in,” the actor explained.

EastEnders Spoilers – Gray Atkins Is Dangerous

Deol also hinted that if his character’s mother knew everything that has happened, she’ll make sure that her child is safe and protected from all kinds of dangers. Who’s the most dangerous person on the square? The answer is obvious – Gray Atkins.

Meanwhile, Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) will get the wrong idea about what’s going on between Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) and Kheerat. She’ll suspect that they’re romantically involved after catching them holding hands in the Vic.

It’s far from the truth. Whitney tells Kheerat that their worst fear has come true because Gray has started to abuse Chelsea physically.
