EastEnders: Gray To Finally Get His Comeuppance

EastEnders spoilers and updates tease that Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) will finally get what’s due after all of the horrible things he’s done. The show has hinted at details of his downfall, which includes shock revenge.

Fans know that Gray has a lot of dark secrets. He murdered Chantelle Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer), Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White), and Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami). Now, he’s tormenting his new wife Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams).

EastEnders Spoilers – Exec Teases Gray Atkons’s Downfall

In a previous interview, EastEnders show bosses hint that Gray’s downfall will soon come. They hinted that the character will finally be caught out in the week of March 7. Executive producer Kate Oates announced that the show will have a new time slot, which is 7:30 pm. Aside from that, she also teased that Gray will finally be exposed this particular week.

She explained they have always intended for Gray’s storyline to be a longer arc following Chantelle’s death.

“Even though some of his actions have been extreme, they have always been grounded in the roots of Gray’s character,” she explained.

Oates also said that Gray’s actions are calculated so that he’ll come out as the good guy. He’s a classic narcissist who will always have an excuse for all the misdeeds he’s done. He thought he got away with his crimes but unfortunately, he’s not. He’s left a lot of clues that are just waiting to be found.

Next week, Gray and Chelsea will be busy preparing for baby Jordan’s return home from the hospital.

However, he becomes distracted when DCI Arthurs questions him about Tina. He gives his DNA, denies any ties to her death, and then refuses to give a further statement to the police.

Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) and Shirley Carter (Tina Carter) learn about the police asking Gray questions and rush to his house to ask about what happened. Gray fakes his grief and pretends that he’s willing to help them in any way they can.

Gray will panic and come up with a plan to escape after learning new information from Shirley. He won’t go to the hospital as planned and tells Chelsea to come home as soon as possible.

Mitch eventually learns the truth about Chantelle while Gray scrambles to find a way out. Chelsea confronts Gray but the latter will no longer be able to control his rage. His past and everything he’s done will finally come to light. More people will learn the truth and they will want to get revenge. Will he escape justice? Or will someone else take matters into his own hands?
