Duggar FamilyDuggar Family Spoilers reveal that Josh Duggar’s legal team will file an appeal in his child pornography case after his 12-year sentence. Josh’s attorneys announced his decision to the court system ahead of his appeal. Was Duggar’s sentence unfair? His attorneys believe so.

Duggar Family Spoilers – Josh Duggars Attorneys Asked For Leniency

Duggar Family Spoilers reveal that Josh was jailed last month for one count of child porn. Josh’s attorneys asked for leniency mainly for his wife and his seven children. However, the judge thought that 12 years was fair. Several of Josh’s family members testified as character witnesses but his past of sexual abuse against his sisters helped to decide this sentence. The possession of child porn charge was dropped so this decision was on receipt of child porn. The judge stated, ‘the images were some of the worst that this court has ever encountered.’ It was also revealed that Josh used his work computer to download these images as well as look at others online.

Duggar Family Spoilers – These Images Were Hard Core

Duggar Family Spoilers reveal that one film on the computer showed an infant being abused and tortured. Another contained images of a girl being beaten with a whip, tied up and locked in a dog cage. The judge admitted that he could not get the images out of his head. The judge also cited Duggar abusing a five-year-old when he was 15 years old. Understandably, the judge ordered that Duggar could not be around his biological children unsupervised as well. The judge believes that Duggar has proven he is still interested in the same age group as he was at 15. Duggar’s children’s ages range from 6 months to 12 years and three of them are female.

Duggar Family Spoilers – The Attorney Wanted The Minimum Sentence

Duggar Family Spoilers reveal that Josh’s attorneys asked for 5 years which was the minimum sentence considering he was a good father and a Christian. However, prosecutors pushed for 20 years because of Duggar’s history and lack of treatment for his issues. There were over 600 images on the computer at the time it was confiscated and prosecutors stated Duggar’s likelihood of reoffending. Prosecutors even had the mother of the little girl from one of the films testify in court about her daughter’s abuse.

Do you think that Duggar deserves an appeal after all of the evidence gathered against him? Should the judge have given him a longer sentence after listening to the mother’s testimony in the case? Keep checking back for updates on Duggar’s appeal.
