DOOL spoilers reveal that Allie’s heart has been torn between Tripp and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) for what seems like forever. Allie has gone back and forth, even landing in bed with Chanel at one point. It seems that whenever Allie made a decision, something would happen that led her to the other love interest.

During Allie’s possession, Tripp jumped into action to save his former flame. The devil tried to use Allie’s feelings for Chanel as a way to create doubt in Tripp’s mind. However, Tripp told the devil that whether Allie is with him or Chanel, he still loved her. Then, Tripp made a sacrifice and jumped to his death to get rid of the devil for good.

Tripp was brought back to life and Allie went to see him in the hospital. It seems that Allie might be changing her mind about who she wants to be with once again.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Tripp will be changed by the experience. Tripp might still be in love with Allie. That love might never completely go away. However, don’t expect Tripp to take Allie back, even after his declaration during the possession story.

DOOL Spoilers – Knowing He Deserves Better

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest about how death changes Tripp, the actor explained what’s going through the character’s head and heart. It seems that death makes Tripp realize that he deserves better than someone who isn’t totally committed to him.

“He’s going to take a long hard look at himself. He will realize that he can be worthy of love like everyone else, and be like, ‘I want someone who loves me for me and only me, and not have to compete with someone else…’”

That makes it sounds as if Tripp will finally start to move past Allie. Fans thought that Tripp and Chanel might end up together. However, that doesn’t appear to be the case, either. Both Allie and Chanel have feelings for each other. While Allie will be torn between her BFF and Tripp, Chanel’s heart will also be divided as Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) tries to get her back.

With Tripp coming to the realization that he deserves better than a love triangle, what comes next? Earlier this year, head writer Ron Carlivati told SOD that Tripp would find love with someone new. So, we will have to keep watching to see who Tripp ends up with next.
