Sloan knows about Chanel and Paulina’s secret from the past. Sloan knows that Paulina is the one with the money, though. So, the sleazy attorney is blackmailing Paulina.

This will be a huge obstacle for Stephanie and her career goals. Having just returned to Salem, Stephanie was counting on Paulina to pave the way for her business. When Paulina fires Stephanie, it will be quite upsetting. Stephanie will be crushed and could turn to Chad for emotional support.

While Stephanie will get encouragement and comfort from Chad, will it turn into a real romance? Chad’s grief is still pretty fresh, so it’s probably too soon for a new woman. However, Chad and Stephanie have chemistry and a connection. By the time they do become a couple, will Alex have moved on? That could provide new complications as Stephanie tries to navigate this new chapter in her life.
