DOOL Spoilers: Nicole And Eric Make Love, Rafe Loses In Love…Again!

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Nicole Walker (Arianna Zucker) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughn) will always end up together no matter who gets hurt in the process. A couple of years ago, Eric and Nicole finally got married, but mere weeks after they took their vows, Eric returned to his mission work overseas. He stayed away for many months, and Nicole eventually slept with Xander Cook (Paul Tefler). Once Eric found out, he took responsibility for his part in the failure of their marriage, and so Eric and Nicole divorced amicably. Eric left town once again for many months and Nicole slowly fell for Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gerring).

Then next time Eric came home, he had once again become a priest. Nicole was shocked but it confirmed that she and Eric would never be able to reunite as long as Eric remained a priest. She married Rafe as a way of moving on, but as fate would have it Eric was removed from the priesthood shortly after Nicole and Rafe took their vows. Eric had performed two exorcisms without approval and lost his calling as a result. But even worse, Eric would not be available. But now, Nicole was spoken for.

When Nicole first fell for Rafe, he was involved romantically with Ava Vitale (Tamara Braun). But Nicole and Rafe eventually gave in to their feelings and had sex on the Basic Black Conference Table. Ava eventually discovered Rafe’s betrayal and after she tried to get revenge, Ava and Rafe called it quits. Nicole and Rafe quickly made it official after Ava was out of the picture. Even though they talked about having a big wedding, Nicole was in such a hurry to forget Eric that she convinced Rafe for a quickie ceremony with a Justice of the Peace!

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Rafe has never really had much luck in the romance department. Like Nicole, he can be his own worst enemy as well. Cheating on Ava with Nicole was his and Nicole’s fault but they just had to be together. And now that they are, Rafe can already feel Nicole slipping away and pulling toward Eric once again. Rafe knows that when it comes to Eric, Nicole might very well betray their vows.

But perhaps Rafe has had enough of romantic failures. Perhaps he will refuse to grant Nicole a divorce when she decides she wants Eric back. Eric is a very spiritual person and as long as Nicole is married, he won’t commit to a future with her. Rafe could make things really difficult if he insists that they remain married.
