DOOL Spoilers: Leo’s Second Chance, Paulina Hires Him Back!

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) thought he finally found a good job despite his shady past in Salem. Paulina Price (Jackee Harry), who was running for Governor at the time, needed a new assistant and hired Leo. Paulina and Leo had both made Sloan Peterson (Jessica Serfaty) an enemy and they bonded over their hatred for the blonde attorney.

Leo still owed Sloan money so she showed up at Paulina’s office. Leo had the combination to Paulina’s safe because she had authorized a payroll advance. Unfortunately, Sloan was able to retrieve evidence she had gathered against Paulina and her daughter Chanel DuPris (Raven Bowens). Paulina had managed to have the files stolen but thanks to Leo, Sloan got the evidence she needed back.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Leo didn’t intend to give Sloan the incriminating files, he was merely trying to pay his bill. Once things calm down and Paulina is back in the office, she will still need an assistant. Even though Leo screwed up, Paulina will trust her instinct and hire him back. Leo will certainly be on probation but as time passes, look for Paulina to trust Leo more and more.

Paulina sometimes does things that may require slightly illegal or at least legally questionable actions. Leo is willing to break the rules to accomplish his goals and sometimes Paulina may need someone willing to do those sorts of things. Paulina is married to Mayor Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and can’t get her hands dirty or be associated with anything criminal in nature, so that’s where Leo may have to step in from time to time. Paulina isn’t a criminal but she certainly believes the ends justify the means!

Leo certainly has a problem with his reputation in Salem. He is known in town as a thief and a gold digger, as well as a con man. Working with Paulina can help bolster Leo’s standing in town and possibly get the respect he so desperately wants. And Paulina will gain a trusted employee who she can trust with anything.
