Plus, Xander built up quite the tab while at the Salem Inn. At one point, Xander and Sarah had to stay in an infested motel room. So, that made Xander pretty desperate to provide for his new wife.

When Xander received an offer from Ava, there was no way he could say no. However, the easy job is turning difficult. In each episode, Xander seems to face a new complication.

Plus, Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis (Judi Evans) does something that surprises Xander. Since Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will question Bonnie about the clowned captor, that has to be connected.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Bonnie likely understands why Xander took Ava’s proposition. So, Bonnie will probably cover for Xander. Then, Xander will confide in Gwen. So, Xander and Gwen will be sharing a secret while Sarah is in the dark.

Sarah would never approve of Xander taking Ava’s job. No matter how desperate for money they are, Sarah considers holding Bonnie and Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) hostage as crossing the line. So, when Sarah finds out what Xander has done, she could be furious enough to leave him.
