DOOL Spoilers: Gabi Holding Back From Li, Knew Rolf’s Plans?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and rumors tease that Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) may be holding something stunning back from Li Shin (Remington Hoffman). Gabi may have known of Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) plans for Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) resurrection via artificial intelligence chip all along when the right vessel came along.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Several Years Ago An AI Chip Was Used

Several years ago an artificial intelligence chip with Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) “essence” was used and implanted in Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) brain. Stefano wasn’t wild about Rolf’s choice of vessel or host body, but it was better than nothing. While Steve was possessed, so to speak, in a scientific way by Stefano via the artificial intelligence chip, he made a passable Stefano – or “Steveano” as some called him.

Rolf’s Stefano chip was likely his prototype; and when Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) was killed, Stefan’s twin, he knew it was the right time to resurrect Stefan. Gabi was Stefan’s widow, and she has been wearing his wedding ring on a chain the whole time he’s been gone, even when dating others-except Li Shin.

DOOL Spoilers – Even Kristen DiMera Is Shocked

Even Kristen is shocked when she finds out Rolf is bringing Stefan back using Jake’s body; she thought surely she would be kept in the loop. But it seems that there is some opportune timing on Gabi’s part, because Kristen came to the DiMera office and put her own name tag on Gabi’s desk. Li couldn’t do anything about it considering Kristen got a governor’s pardon, all he could do is verify it by looking at the news feed on his cell phone.

But if Stefan is back in power, Gabi gets her company back; and her power, because they were not divorced, he “died” so she is still Mrs. Stefan DiMera legally. Just the way she’s acting about this Rolf project that he didn’t even know about, nor Kristen, makes Li very suspicious Gabi’s known all along.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Stefan DiMera Didn’t Know About His Twin

Even though Jake eventually learned Stefan had been his twin, Days of Our Lives spoilers show Stefan never knew about Jake. Their mother, Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) didn’t even know about Jake until her manservant confessed he separated her twins. Vivian was pretty upset at Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera) when he told her – perhaps it’s a good thing that Orpheus (George Del Hoyo) left her to rot in Statesville Prison.

Whether Stefan will be told he’s in his twin brother’s body is a very good question; he searched for his birth parents having been raised in an orphanage. Since Stefan was brain dead and Gabi donated his heart to Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) he’d have to be alive via an AI chip, there is no other way.

DOOL Spoilers – Why Did You Lie To Me

Li will be upset when he realizes he’s been lied to for the better part of three years by everyone involved, by Rolf and by Gabi. Li, of all people should have known about the AI technology and that there had been an AI chip made of Stefan, apparently before he died. It was Stefan who’d been responsible for Steve Johnson’s spy eye that Steve was imprisoned for which made him available for Stefano’s AI chip. That will be the end of Li and Gabi’s relationship for more than one reason; number one, he’ll be upset Gabi’s lied to him. Number two, she’ll still be married to the man now in Jake’s brain and body.
