DOOL spoilers reveal that head writer Ron Carlivati confirmed that Abigail DiMera (formerly played by Marci Miller) isn’t the only death this summer. Just as fans are coping with the loss of Abigail and the murder mystery, there will be another death. All the scribe would say is that it’s a major character but is not Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall).

There are hints that it could be Jake who bites the bullet. However, there are also indicators that Jake could propose to Ava.

During the week of July 25, Jake will have a special gift for Ava. It is also teased that the couple will have a heartfelt conversation regarding their future together. It certainly sounds like Jake is ready to tie the knot with Ava. However, this has fans really confused.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that it wasn’t long ago that Carlivati discussed Jake and Gabi Hernandez’s (Camila Banus) breakup. The head writer made it clear that “Jabriella” as well as other certain couples would be reunited after going through troubled waters.

There have been a few scenes that suggested Jake and Gabi were trying to make each other jealous by dating Ava and Li Shin (Remington Hoffman). Now, things have suddenly changed.

If Jake is the one who dies, then that could come right after Ava accepts the marriage proposal. This could just be another confirmation for Ava that isn’t meant to find love. Even though Ava tried to be good for Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams), he is no longer in Salem. Plus, Ava really tried to live the straight and narrow with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) until she was betrayed.

Now she gets a chance to experience real love and a happy ending with Jake only to have it ripped away. There is only so much a person can take before they give up. Will Ava be able to cope with Jake’s death? Or could fans see the old Ava return?
