DOOL Spoilers: Chad Moves On, Abigail’s Ghost Approves

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) ghost may appear and encourage a lonely Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) it’s ok to move on. Currently, he’s hiding a crush on Abby’s cousin Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and Chad and Abby’s kids just love her, and the feeling’s mutual.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Abby DiMera’s Ghost Visited Before

Viewers will remember Abby’s visited before in times of trouble and stress for Chad; she visited him when her murder was finally solved to give Chad peace. Clyde Weston (James Read) turned out to be the culprit after many false leads and inappropriate arrests and Abby urged Chad to let her go and briefly visited her mother too. The ordeal had been so hard on Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) that she had returned to popping pills in order to put on a brave front.

With Jennifer in rehab, and Chad and the little ones moving out of the DiMera mansion because of grief, the little ones need a female influence and Chad is lonely. Abby would completely approve of Stephanie for a stepmom for the kids even if Chad still feels like he would be betraying his late wife.

DOOL Spoilers – Chad DiMera Put On The Brakes

Chad put on the brakes with Stephanie after that wonderful night she showed up and bonded with little Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron).  Stephanie made sure both the little ones got to sleep okay and read Charlotte her favorite bedtime story which meant a lot to Charlotte and Chad. Thomas liked Stephanie, too and both took right to her especially when they found out she’s Mommy’s cousin. But unfortunately for Chad, that pumping the brakes caused her to give his rival Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) a chance; and he and she have been getting closer. Chad hasn’t been able to put aside his burgeoning feelings for Stephanie and even planned to quit SJPR but she managed to talk him out of it.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Chad DiMera’s Unexpected Visitor

During the week of December 19, Chad will get an unexpected visitor – might it be Abigail’s ghost, prodding him to move on and snag Stephanie before Alex gets her permanently? That might be just the push he needs to get out of his funk and admit his feelings for Stephanie, which appear to be getting even stronger. Even if their relationship doesn’t end in marriage she’s still extended family to the little ones so he needs to give it a shot.

Abigail certainly wouldn’t want Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) to be the guiding female in her children’s lives until Jennifer is back up to the task. Chad needs to get off his duff and seize the opportunity to romance Stephanie before the opportunity’s gone.
