DOOL spoilers reveal that Gwen was stunned when Kristen told her that Sarah didn’t actually leave Salem with Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder). Although Kristen didn’t tell Gwen exactly where Sarah was being kept, she did explain how she got rid of the good doctor.

Gwen has been conflicted about whether to tell Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) or not ever since. However, Kristen got Gwen to keep quiet by using her insecurity. Gwen will do anything to keep Xander in her life, even at the risk of someone else’s life.

Gwen already freaked out at Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) over her investigating what happened to Sarah. Abigail explained that she wasn’t doing it to ruin Gwen and Xander’s relationship. Abigail reminded Gwen that Sarah is her cousin and she is helping Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers). Gwen was able to cover, but she will explode at Abigail once again. It happens after Gwen finds out that Abigail has a lead on Sarah’s whereabouts.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Gwen has already gone to Ava about her concerns. So, when Xander tells Gwen that Abigail has a lead on Sarah, she will go into a panic. Gwen probably turns to Ava once again. However, Ava will tell Gwen a secret. This secret could be that she has a way to solve Gwen’s problem. Not only will it solve Gwen’s problem, but it will help protect Kristen.

Granted, Kristen is a fugitive with a long list of crimes. However, if Kristen gets caught, then she will expose the bombshell about Gwen knowing about Sarah. Kristen will also tell Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) the truth about Ava.

It’s possible that Ava’s secret is that she has access to Kristen’s trunk of masks. During the week of January 17, Sarah returns to Salem. However, Sarah is being held captive on a private island owned by the DiMera family. So, how exactly does Sarah escape and stroll into Salem without a care in the world?

It sounds like it might not be the real Sarah who returns, but an imposter. Could that imposter be Ava, who is trying to convince Xander and Abigail to call off the search since “Sarah” is no longer missing? We know that Abigail interrogates “Sarah” and then makes an accusation. So, it sounds as if Abigail suspects Sarah might not be herself… literally.
