DOOL Spoilers: Another Death Rocks Salem, Veteran Character Exits?

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that head writer Ron Carlivati teased another death will rock Salem. This comes as fans are still adjusting to Abigail DiMera (formerly played by Marci Miller) being brutally murdered. The only clue that the scribe would share was that it’s not Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). So, could it be another veteran character?

Ron Carlivati Confirms Another Death

DOOL spoilers reveal that fans are still right in the middle of Abigail’s murder mystery. However, that is only one death in an array of upcoming exits. Carlivati spoke with Michael Fairman TV and confirmed that another death is coming up.

“Another major character is going to be killed, like, in the fairly near future.”

While it is teased that this will be a big story, it will not be another murder mystery. There were also a few additional clues dropped.

The head writer explained that this particular death will not have a resurrection or return. Specifically, Carlivati said that the character would be “dead-dead.” Now, characters come back all the time, sometimes years later. The only way to promise this is if the death happens to someone older.

Another clue that the death is an older character is the one person Carlivati said wasn’t a possibility: Marlena Evans. So, that hints it’s probably not only a legacy character but one that is older.

There is also the fact that it won’t be a murder mystery. It’s true that it still could be murder, but it’s more likely the death is a tragic accident or even a health issue. One good theory is that the character dies from a heart attack or even from old age.

Alex Kiriakis’ Return

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Alex Kiriakis is returning to Salem. With another member of the Kiriakis family making a comeback, could that be due to a family death? Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) isn’t seen very often anymore. Plus, Victor has been around a long time and not only has grandchildren but great-grandchildren.

So, maybe Alex returns for the funeral. Alex might also need to stick around to help run Titan Industries.
