DOOL spoilers reveal that Rafe considers himself to be a good cop. The police commissioner prides himself on having accurate instincts. When Steve “Patch” Johnson (Stephen Nichols) warned Rafe when he first began dating Ava, the commissioner stood up for the villain. At that time, Ava really was trying to be a better person.

For the past few weeks, Rafe’s instincts have told him that Ava is going back to her old ways. Despite Ava putting on a good act, Rafe isn’t fooled. He just can’t prove it and Nicole has been trying to give Ava the benefit of the doubt. With Nicole sticking up for Ava and no proof, Rafe has found himself torn.

At least, until the day of Tuesday, January 25. That is when Rafe became certain that Ava was up to no good – and he is absolutely correct.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of January 31 reveal that Ava gets sloppy. Nicole starts to suspect that Rafe’s instincts are correct about Ava. As Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) looks into Ava’s criminal connections, Rafe tries to hide his suspicions about Ava. However, Nicole talks to someone about Ava and that could put her in danger.

Ava seems to enjoy putting on Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) masks and impersonating people. Ava enjoyed pretending to be Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) a bit too much. Ava also isn’t going to allow anyone to get in her way. So, when Nicole opens up about Ava, Allie could make the mistake of telling Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams).

Tripp has always been a direct person and will likely start asking his mother questions. When Ava realizes that Nicole knows what she’s up to, the villain could take drastic action. Will Ava kidnap Nicole or impersonate her to mess with Rafe’s head? Or could Ava come up with a more permanent solution?
