DOOL Spoilers: Abe’s Campaign In Trouble, Paulina’s Deceitful Past The Cause?

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Abe Carver (James Reynolds) is considering running for Governor thanks to his wife Paulina Price’s (Jackee Harry) not-so-subtle desire to move up the political ladder. Ironically it may be Paulina’s history that could keep voters from choosing her husband. But help may come from a former Salem resident who happens to run a PR firm of her own.

Although the current Governor had no plans to run another term anyway, he effectively ended any future in politics he might have had he suddenly and without explanation pardoned five of Salem’s worst criminals, including Orpheus (George DelHoyo) and Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk). Orpheus blackmailed the Governor with some very damaging evidence of his former wrongdoing. Whoever wins the election and becomes Governor will have quite a mess to fix right away.

DOOL Spoilers – Paulina Price’s Past Might Be A Problem!

But Paulina’s history might work against Abe’s campaign. When Paulina’s ex TR Coates (William Christian) was shot and killed, Paulina lied to the police and said it was her that committed the crime. She was protecting her daughter Lani Price (Sal Stowers) who actually pulled the trigger. Paulina was willing to go to jail but the fact that she hindered a police investigation might work against any chance Abe has of winning an election.

Then there is the fact that she never told Lani that she was her birth mother and therefore, Abe couldn’t be her father. The truth doesn’t always come easy for Paulina and Abe’s opponents will certainly bring that to voters’ attention. But just when they are about to give up, look for Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) shocking arrival to be just exactly what Abe and Paulina need,

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Stephanie Johnson Runs Her Own PR Firm!

Stephanie runs a PR company on Days of Our Lives. If anyone can put a positive spin on Paulina’s past, it may be Stephanie. She has spent the last several years getting her company off the ground while living in Seattle. She is likely planning a permanent return to town and if she can successfully help Abe get elected, word of mouth will certainly be favorable. She may be returning to town just to help Abe in his bid to be the next Governor.

Perhaps Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will work with Stephanie since he isn’t currently at DiMera Enterprises. Working on Abe’s campaign with Stephanie may be exactly what Chad needs to move on with his life after the murder of his wife, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller). Perhaps a romance will eventually develop between Stephanie and Chad as well.
