Sister Wives fans have wondered in the past if Meri is secretly a closet gay. Possibly, that arises because of the catfishing story that dragged on for a lifetime of seasons on TLC. However, the fact that Mariah, a.k.a Leon came out as gay also reinforces that. Recall, that at one stage, Mariah was one of the few in the family who liked the idea of polygamy. Now a theory arose that Meri might have seen polygamy as a safe way to explore her own bisexuality.

Meri claims to not understand the pressure of coming out because Leon and Audrey Kriss live with so much rejection. So, she openly supports them and loves them as she feels that’s the best she can do. These days, both Audrey and Leon came out as trans, and they live in Denver. Actually, their following grows because they are so open about their lifestyle. But does Meri love them and admire them for doing something that she really wanted for herself?

When Sister Wives fans started thinking that Meri’s either gay or bisexual she was catfished. Actually, a lot of people, think that it was very obvious that “Sam” wasn’t a man. Then in May this year, fans wondered if her bestie, Jenn Sullivan is a secret gay as well. Both of them laughed it off and denied they had those feelings for each other. And yet, the idea persists and a Redditor raised the subject this weekend.

Sister Wives – Polygamy A Safe Way To Explore Bisexuality?

On Sunday, a post went from u/ginger__snappzzz on the TLCsisterwives subreddit. Although it was about all the lies Kody ever told, it diverged into other conversations. Someone talked about Audrey and Leon and how Leon was keen on polygamy at one stage. So, u/thejexorcist shared an interesting theory. They wrote, “[Meri] seemed absolutely giddy when Robyn came into the family/picture.” Plus, they mentioned that the “catfish’s creation of Meri’s ‘dream man’ was clearly a middle-aged lesbian…” 

The Sister Wives follower wondered why Meri Brown seemed so keen to spark things up with Robyn. Recall, she seemed way excited about her joining the family. The inference was that perhaps she enjoyed the thought of intimacy with Robyn and possibly herself. Additionally, the writer touched on the fact that if she tried for intimacy with Christine and Janelle, that might explain why they don’t seem to like her. Next, they said, “I wonder if having ‘sisterwives’ was supposed to be a safer way to explore that..”

Kody Brown Isn’t Interested In Intimacy With Meri

Sister Wives fans know that Kody seemed fine with Mariah coming out as LGBT. But, did he suspect that his first wife knew Sam was actually a lesbian?
