The Young And The Restless’ Sharon and Victor’s marriage could be the most hated marriage not only to fans but to the actors as well. Sharon has been married to both of Victor’s sons as well. Sharon and Nick are probably considered almost as big as Victor and Nikki when it comes to supercouple status. Victor and Sharon’s relationship disturbed views because of their former relationship. Victor and Nikki married for business reason’s but their relationship turned romantic. Sharon and Victor’s physical relationship was implied but never shown on screen. Eventually, Sharon and Victor divorced and she was later diagnosed with bipolar disorder after a series of erratic behaviors.

The Young And The Restless’ Eric and Sharon were not fans of this storyline. Case even referred to the relationship as incestuous and upsetting to the audience. Sharon explained, “Sometimes controversial storylines can work because you’re bringing attention to a controversial issue that the nation is trying to decide on. But this was not one of those things.”

Braden said that at some point all actors have to play a part that they don’t like and praised Sharon as a good actress. Michael Muhney, who portrayed Adam Newman added his opinion on the pairing as well. “It saddens me that when you summarize the storyline, the show and some of its recent past sounds like cartoonish passions. I don’t think half of those stories needed to happen. I wouldn’t have gone that far in the writing with the baby issue. The Victor and Sharon marriage was almost like an inside joke.”

The Young And The Restless Nick and Sharon tend to end up pulled back to each other no matter who else they have been paired with. A few weeks ago, Nick was determined to win Sharon back at all costs. However, Nick may have to prove himself to Sharon to get her back where he believes she belongs.
