Days of Our Lives fans are a loyal bunch and get very upset when the writers make what they consider stupid mistakes. Fans know that Johnny had retinoblastoma as a young child. Johnny had to have his eye removed to save his life. Fans have been very well aware of this for years and assume that the writers have done their homework too. However, every time we see Johnny onscreen both of his eyes are glowing. Since when do prosthetic eyes glow for any reason? Have writers simply overlooked this simple fact for a storyline? Fans are not buying this obvious overlooking of history. Fans want the writers to get it right.

Days of Our Lives fans are more than fed up with this story already and that leads to them nitpicking. The glowing eyes are just one thing that annoys fans, another is why has no one noticed a problem. Johnny hasn’t been caught by anyone but no one seems concerned by his actions. How are the changes in this guy not obvious. Why would Johnny leave his young wife to skirt chase after another woman? Johnny seems to have realized what happened with his grandmother and then turned into a huge womanizer and no one even sees it.

Days of Our Lives fans are left wondering who is going to save Johnny from this situation. Johnny doesn’t know that he is possessed. Johnny isn’t even looking at the possibility of what is going on with his body because he is so unaware. Of course, Johnny is also staying away from the one person who would notice the difference. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) would see the changes in her grandson. However, the Devil knows that Marlena can beat him and has more than once. Johnny has pushed Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) away as well. Who will notice that Johnny is in trouble and find help for him? Is Johnny lost to his family already?

Days Of Our Lives writers need to fix their little mistakes or at least have the Devil acknowledge that he has the fake eye glowing on purpose. Will the writers respond to fans’ concerns?
