Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Xander Returns To His Criminal Ways!

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) has had his heart broken twice in recent days. First, he discovered that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), the woman he first fell in love with, no longer remembered him after being given a drug devised by Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay). Sadly, Sarah showed no signs of improvement after being given what was supposed to be the antidote and had to be shipped out of town for extensive medical treatment. Now, he learns that the woman he fell in love with Sarah’s absence, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) was not the woman he thought she was.

Although she had nothing to do with Sarah’s kidnapping, in the beginning, Gwen was an accessory after the fact after Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk) forced Gwen to help her escape police custody. Kristen had been the one to kidnap Sarah and promised to tell Xander where to find her if Gwen didn’t help her escape. Gwen did as she was asked and then took it a step further by arranging for Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) to be kidnapped as well when she got too close to the truth. Even worse, once Sarah was brought back home, Gwen traded out the antidote for a second dose of the mind-bending drug, leaving Sarah with the mind of a child.

Gwen thought she had put all of that behind her, but Abigail discovered the truth and outed Gwen in front of all her friends and family. Xander will certainly want nothing to do with Gwen once he discovers the truth. And he’ll most likely drown his sorrows in a very potent bottle of alcohol. But Xander will also likely give up on the notion of love. He turned his back on his former criminal ways because of Sarah’s love.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Xander Cook Will Return To His Dark Roots!

With love having bitten him twice, Xander will certainly turn him back on love and could easily revert to his criminal ways. Xander worked as a criminal for hire, most often doing the dirty work for Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston). Having been hurt by anything resembling love, look for Xander to return to his conniving ways. That will mean that Xander could easily return to a life of crime. Before Sarah, there wasn’t much that Xander wouldn’t do for a quick buck. Look for that version of Xander to return, at least until Sarah eventually recovers.
