Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) truly thought it was her sweet baby boy Elvis, aka EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) who was in serious danger, but it turned out to be her. Now, she has been kidnapped by an unknown captor and she fears for her life.

On Thursday, she begs Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) to set her free and he is quite torn.

He really did not want to get involved with anything illegal again, but the money Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) was offering him was too good to be true. Now that Susan is whining and annoying him — as well as making him feel quite guilty — he debates about defying Ava and just letting Susan go free.

If he is caught, his marriage to Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) is over because there is no way she can ever forgive this stunt.

Speaking of Ava, EJ is sure she is trying to do something bad to him, but he is not sure what. To that end, he confides his fears in his brother Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis).
