Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) has certainly been embracing his darker side of late and his idea regarding how to get Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) out from Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) thumb is definitely not something a priest would suggest. However, Eric doesn’t seem to care about any of that anymore as he feels his last hopes to be an actual father were dashed when Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) seemed to talk Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) into aborting his baby.

That’s why it’s so odd that he came up with a plot to pretend Rachel Black has been kidnapped so that Kristen will give up the orchid that can save Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), and Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans). He and Brady start putting that plan into action on Wednesday and the results will not be what they suspect.

It’s almost time for Gabi Hernandez’s (Camilla Banus) New year’s Eve wedding to Li Shin (Remington Hoffman). She is determined to go through with this even though her heart isn’t in it and is planning to be a beautiful and chic bride.

Currently, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) is dating Stefan because Stefan believes he is still in love with her instead. However, Chloe can’t get rid of those feelings for Brady and is still at a loss as to why he broke up with her in favor of crazy Kristen.
