Since then, both Rafe and Gabi did exit for a time but came back.

Vilasuso’s next project isn’t a soap but a podcast. The actor will be working on the podcast with his wife, Kaitlin Vilasuso. While that might keep him busy, it doesn’t mean he’s giving up acting or even soaps in general. Perhaps Vilasuso will be available for a brief stint or change his mind sometime in the future.

So, if Dario comes back, that will open the doors for some new romances in Salem. Even though love triangles are the hallmark of soaps, fans like things switched up. The same love triangles going on for years get tiresome and predictable. It is speculated that Dario and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) could make a hot couple.
