Ever since Gwen came to town, she has been targeting Abigail. As viewers know, Gwen is the illegitimate daughter of Jack Devereaux (Matthew Ashford), making Gwen and Abigail half-sisters. Jealous that Abigail got the life that she should have had, Gwen did everything from drugging Abigail to sleeping with her husband. But Jack never knew Gwen even existed thanks to Laura Horton (Jamie Lynn Bauer). But at Gwen’s wedding to Xander Cook (Paul Tefler), Abigail was finally able to expose dirty deeds in a very public setting. But Gwen may be more dangerous than Abigail realizes.

But Gwen may be even more dangerous than Abigail realizes. Gwen has claimed that during a confrontation with Laura, Laura fell. Laura hit her head and died in Gwen’s hotel room. Although there was some question about whether Gwen purposely killed Laura, it has been largely considered an accident. But it’s entirely possible that Gwen murdered Laura as revenge for keeping her existence a secret from Jack!

Gwen has done some terrible things in the past, but as far as anyone knows she isn’t a murderer. If Gwen did indeed murder Laura, then Abigail could very well be next on her list. Rumors have been floating that Abigail will be murdered later this year. The most likely culprit seems to be Gwen at the moment, especially if she also murdered Laura! And if that is the case, Gwen may begin to feel she has nothing to lose. Besides Abigail, Ava Vitale (Tamara Braun) could also be in danger for betraying Gwen!
