Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) thought his life got complicated enough when he learned Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) was pregnant with his child, but he thought that Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) would tolerate it for the sake of his child. Well, now she has served him with divorce papers, which came as quite a shock. He knows this can’t all be about Jan and the baby.

So, Shawn goes looking for answers and thinks he will find them with EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel). After all, Belle is even working in close proximity to EJ now and they have become friends. Maybe he knows what’s been going on or is somehow involved with the reason his marriage is on the rocks. But should Shawn be careful what he wishes for when he goes searching for answers?

Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) likely regretted agreeing to be Jan’s therapist the moment she said yes, but she is committed now and will do her job.
