DOOL spoilers reveal that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) has been exposed and arrested. Xander went to visit Gwen and demanded to know what she did with the antidote. Xander was willing to do anything to get Gwen to help him save Sarah.

Exhausted and out of options, Gwen didn’t demand anything in return for the information. Gwen let Xander know exactly where to find the antidote.

Xander does get his hands on the antidote. This seems to be the only thing that can save Sarah. As Xander mentioned in a recent episode, even Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) was shocked that the antidote didn’t work on Sarah.

Of course, that was when everyone assumed Sarah was injected with the cure. In actuality, Gwen replaced the antidote with even more of the dangerous hallucinogen. It caused Sarah to revert to that of a little girl.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of May 9 reveal that Xander and Maggie have a tough decision to make about Sarah. Xander wants to give Sarah the antidote as he’s optimistic it will work. However, Maggie refuses and probably worries that Sarah will just get worse.

However, Kayla’s latest news on Sarah’s condition will force Maggie to change her mind. Kayla explains that the latest brain scans show Sarah is just getting worse each day. Then, Sarah suddenly goes catatonic.

When Sarah goes into a catatonic state, Xander uses this to change Maggie’s mind. It is clear that if something isn’t done right now, Sarah will die. Xander reasons that if they are going to lose Sarah anyway, then there is no harm in seeing if the antidote has any effect. Maggie ends up agreeing and Sarah is given the cure.

At first, it seems as if the antidote is successful. Sarah snaps out of her catatonic state and looks at Xander. Sarah addresses Xander by name and then kisses him. However, what Sarah says next reveals this story isn’t over yet.
