Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo) is in a heap of trouble. Although he has currently managed to frame EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerrigel) for Sami Brady’s (Allison Sweeney) kidnapping, Lucas is actually the guilty party. Lucas was upset that Sami still wanted EJ, even after her affair with Lucas was discovered. Lucas believes that he belongs with Sami, not Lucas. But Sami is determined to get EJ back! Sami’s heart will be broken when the truth comes out, not just because Lucas was behind it but because he framed EJ.

Lucas has loved Sami since they were young. They were each other’s first loves and that is a strong bond. The fact that Sami and Lucas made love last year when EJ and Sami were still having marital issues is proof that they still have a connection. But it’s much stronger on Lucas’ part. Sami loves EJ with more of a fondness than a passion. That’s why she will go forward with pressing charges once Lucas’ role in her kidnapping comes out.

Lucas did much more than just separate EJ and Sami. He kept Sami away from her family for months on end while the devil possessed her mother, Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). While there probably wasn’t much Sami could do to stop the devil, she could have been there to support her family from the beginning. As it is, the devil tore Sami’s family apart. They will still feel the effects of devil’s machinations for years to come. So while it won’t be an easy decision, look for Sami to go forward with charges against Lucas.

If Lucas is convicted of Sami’s kidnapping. He will likely go to prison for a very long time. This will infuriate their daughter, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) as well as Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). But Sami won’t see any other option. Lucas needs to get over her, and perhaps if he sees how serious she is about punishing him for his crimes, then he can finally move on. But is prison the right place for Lucas?
