Stefan will be even more determined to get to Gabi after he realizes what Rolf has done. However, Rolf may try to delay Stefan to warn Shin of his departure. Rolf could also try to warn Stefan of the reaction Gabi may have to him. Rolf could even encourage Stefan to allow someone else to approach Gabi first.

Stefan could easily overpower Rolf and get out of the lab unless he sedates him again. However, getting to Gabi may be only half the battle. Li is more than likely going to try to keep them apart if Stefan gets there. Li could also try to convince Gabi that she is dealing with a confused Jake instead of Stefan. How is Gabi going to figure out that truth? Will Gabi ever believe that Stefan has come back for her?

Gabi has grown comfortable having Li in her life. Li might not be the love of her life, but he’s been there for her to lean on and she cares about him. However, Li has pushed the envelope trying to get rid of reminders of Stefan. After all, he was the love of Gabi’s life and still is. Can Gabi choose between the two?

Gabi has already lost Stefan once. Then Gabi believed he had returned when Jake Dimera (Brandon Barash) arrived in Salem. Now, once again, Gabi has Stefan back and he could have feelings for another woman because of his heart transplant. Can Gabi’s heart take losing Stefan again? Should Gabi simply stay with Li and forget about Stefan’s return?

Stefan’s brainwashing may stir up memories from Jake that could only hurt Gabi more. What will Gabi decide?
