Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Paulina Fires Stephanie, Chad Gives Her Personal Comfort

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) gets frustrated and fires Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) after she fails to solve her problems. Stephanie has been unsuccessful in making Sloan Petersen’s (Jessica Serfaty) blackmail go away, and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) gives her some personal comfort.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Feeling Like A Failure

Granted, Paulina hadn’t hired Stephanie to be a super sleuth, just a super campaign marketer and publicity promoter, but she has tried everything to make the problem go away. She even broke into Sloan’s apartment to look for dirt or to try to find something to disprove or discredit the allegations that Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) murdered someone. Unfortunately all she found was a nearly naked Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) handcuffed to Sloan’s bed, and Chad tried to pay Sloan with a suitcase full of counterfeit money.

Alex didn’t rat Stephanie out to Paulina or to Sloan but the counterfeit money failed to impress or fool her. Sloan had apparently dealt with counterfeiters before and could tell the difference and she told Paulina that wouldn’t work.

DOOL Spoilers – Stephanie Johnson Cries

Stephanie’s so upset when she tells Chad that Paulina has fired them, that she is literally a crumpled mess of tears. Chad tells her none of this is her fault or his for that matter, because Paulina expected them to do Black Patch level work and it’s not in their job description. For that matter, it’s way over their pay grade and perhaps they do need to consult Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and get a professional involved. The crisis with Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) is over as well as with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Kate Roberts-Brady (Lauren Koslow). For that matter, why didn’t Paulina talk to her husband Abe Carver (James Reynolds) about this-he was a cop for years and the Police Commissioner long before he was mayor!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Not Broke, A Romantic Getaway?

Chad reminds Stephanie that he is far from broke, and Stephanie says she isn’t on the verge of bankruptcy either. Their friendship has been rapidly evolving into more, and maybe a fun and possibly romantic getaway might do them both good. As long as it’s something different and somewhere different than things he used to do with Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) he’s up for a short getaway together. Stephanie agrees, and maybe getting away from the situation will fire up their creativity; they pick the perfect place and a lot more than creativity fires up!
