Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) life has been destroyed. Not only will he go to trial for kidnapping, but he’s lost his wife, his girlfriend, and his career. While EJ deals with possibly losing his freedom, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) and Sami DiMera (Alison Sweeney) leave Salem together.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Lucas Horton’s Frame Job

DOOL spoilers reveal that Lucas had to act fast when Sami called Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) for help while being held hostage. Lucas raced to save Sami from her captivity, which everyone believed. Lucas managed to convince the guard to blame EJ when he was caught by the police. When EJ was arrested, Lucas thought that his troubles were over.

Then, the devil threatened to expose the truth. Once Lucas covered, he went through one more obstacle and it was really over the top. Lucas made sure that it appeared as if EJ paid the guard who held Sami captive. Even though Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) caught Lucas and usually does the right thing, the two struck a deal.

DOOL Spoilers – Convincing Sami DiMera

Lucas was baffled when despite everything, Sami seemed to still believe in EJ’s innocence. However, once Chad walked into the room and showed proof that EJ paid the guard, Sami walked away from her husband. Lucas has succeeded in convincing Sami that EJ is guilty of having her kidnapped.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that EJ will go to trial and Belle Brady (Martha Madison) represents him. It causes some issues between Sami and Belle, but the sisters never quite see eye-to-eye on anything. Before the trial, though, Lucas will take drastic action to make sure Sami never finds out the truth.

DOOL Spoilers – ‘Lumi’ Leave Salem

In the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, head writer Ron Carlivati explained that Lucas and Sami will leave Salem together.

“With the revelation that EJ is her ‘kidnapper’, Sami turns more and more toward Lucas. And Lucas, knowing that he, in fact, is her kidnapper, is living with this awful fear that someday, she’s going to find this out. So, his goal is to get her as far away from Salem as possible, and Sami and Lucas decide to go back to Europe, where Sydney is.”

Of course, the truth always comes out in soaps. It is teased that Lucas’ scheme could completely unravel during EJ’s trial. How will Sami feel knowing Lucas kidnapped her and framed EJ for the crime? What does this mean for the future of “Ejami”? We will have to keep watching the NBC soap to find out.
