After learning Gabi is still wearing Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) wedding ring, Li orders her to take it off. Gabi will be stunned by Li’s demand. However, it sounds like he will convince her to just do what he says.

DOOL spoilers reveal that during the week of August 15, Gabi will make a confession to Li. It is teased that Gabi will tell Li that she still wears Stefan’s wedding ring. When Li hears this, he won’t like it one bit.

The whole reason he ordered Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) to postpone waking up Stefan was that he fell in love with Gabi. Even though Li and Gabi have passion, Gabi hasn’t fallen in love with him yet. So, it seems that Li thinks a little more time will get him the woman he wants.

In the weekly preview clip, Li and Gabi are spending more time engaging in passion. Suddenly, Li tells Gabi that it’s time for her to take off Stefan’s ring. It doesn’t sound like a forceful demand but it’s not exactly a request either.

Li might tell Gabi that Stefan is in her past and he hopes to be her future. Even though Gabi won’t want to take off the ring, she will try to understand his point of view.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that the only thing Gabi has left of Stefan is the ring. For Gabi to take it off will be emotional for her. In Gabi’s mind, it will feel like she’s trying to erase the great love they shared.

It is teased that Gabi will have difficulty complying with Li’s request. However, Gabi also won’t want Li to think that she’s not truly available to him. Of course, Li is acting like a control freak and making demands he has no right to make. While fans have seen signs of this, Gabi hasn’t noticed this side of him. At least, Gabi hasn’t clued into it just yet.

During the week of August 22, Gabi will begin to get suspicious of Li. Specifically, Gabi wonders about the true dynamic between Li and Dr. Rolf. Could this lead Gabi to sneak into Dr. Rolf’s lab to see what’s going on? If so, Gabi could be in for the shock of her life. However, what will Li do if he finds out Gabi knows Stefan can be resurrected after all?
