Allie is upset with her brother for hurting Chanel, which she tried to warn her best friend about. Allie is concerned about Chanel, instead of lashing out at Johnny, she chases after Chanel.

Allie’s intention when she catches up with Chanel is to console her. However, more than that happens. Allie and Chanel share a kiss and that leads to them engaging in unexpected passion. Arnold explained to Soap Opera Digest that this was the last thing Allie was expecting. It also makes Allie confused all over again.

“The entire Chanel situation has Allie very confused because it comes in these waves… she’s having these random feelings overcome her, where she does fall into a kiss with her… But it feels right, so it keeps happening.”

As the kiss leads to passion, Allie is surprised. The next morning, Chanel and Allie wake up in bed together. Now Allie has to explain to Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) where she’s been. Does she tell him the truth or lie to her boyfriend? It is teased that Allie lies to Tripp about where she was and what she was doing.

However, the truth will come out eventually. How will Allie explain cheating on Tripp and then lying about it? Does it mean Allie’s future is with Chanel, or will this love triangle get even more complicated?
