Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Jada Comes Down On Steve, Disagrees With Kayla Rescue Decision?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that new Salem detective Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) will come down on Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols). Perhaps she will disagree with her dad’s old pal and say that he should have gotten police involved in rescuing Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) from Orpheus (George Del Hoyo).

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – The Women Were Kidnapped

Orpheus had perpetrated one of his famous, or should that be infamous mind game rescues in which he kidnapped Kayla along with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). Years ago, Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) when he was in the ISA was Orpheus’ partner, who then went by Milo Harp. They were in an operation against the KGB, the communist secret police when Orpheus’ wife came into their camp unexpectedly and Roman accidentally shot and killed her.

That set Orpheus off on a years long career of crime, and this was his revenge for his wife’s death. Roman, Steve and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) had to solve a puzzle and then find the women and defuse a bomb; they were warned not to involve police or the ISA.

DOOL Spoilers – Lives Could Have Been Lost

Jada is comparatively new to the force, while Roman, John and Steve all have ISA experience for years, with Roman having been a cop and Salem Police Commissioner until his retirement. However, Jada may not be taking that into account, and not realize how many years of law enforcement and spy training Steve had. She just thinks of him as Uncle Steve, her father Marcus Hunter (Richard Biggs) and he having been best friends. She also thinks of him as a civilian, as many rookie and some not so rookie police do and worry that lives could have been lost. Jada was just a little girl the last time she had seen Steve.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Reassurance Is Needed

It sounds like Jada comes down on Steve rather strongly, and reassurance is needed. Overreaction probably describes Jada’s response after learning of his and his buddies’ rescue mission, although she probably knows of Orpheus’ reputation. If she doesn’t, she’ll likely be educated on all things Orpheus very quickly.

Steve will likely also educate her on all things Black Patch, ISA and Roman’s police experience and that they aren’t rookies or civilians. But he’ll admit they were all three of them scared and the rescue was completed by the skin of their teeth, and worst of all, he fell for Orpheus’ distraction tactics.
