Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Wes Ramsey Recently Exited General Hospital

Days of Our Lives fans who watch General Hospital just said goodbye to Wes Ramsey as Peter August, son of Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and Alexandra Marick (Finola Hughes), after the rather unpopular character was killed off after an approximately 4-1/2 years run. Longtime Days of Our Lives and General Hospital fans will remember there’s always been a lot of back and forth between Days of Our Lives and General Hospital of actors, and in fact Wally Kurth still plays both Justin Kiriakis on Days and Ned Quartermaine on GH.

During the Melaswen storyline, Stephen Nichols and Mary Beth Evans, Patch and Kayla Johnson on Days played Stefan Cassadine and Catherine Bell, respectively, on GH, and Days’ Tamara Braun who plays Ava Vitali once played Carly Corinthos on GH. Since Days of Our Lives’ current head writer, Ron Carlivati once was head writer on GH, it seems to make sense that Wes could be cast in a role on Days, although it is important to note there have been no official announcements from either Days of Our Lives or Wes himself.

DOOL Spoilers – Several Older Articles Confirmed Wes Ramsey’s Casting On Days

Days of Our Lives spoilers do reveal upon research that several older articles did confirm Wes Ramsey’s casting on Days of Our Lives but they were all from 2009. Daytime Confidential passed on information found in Soap Opera Digest, while a more recent “Goodbye to Wes Ramsey as Peter August’ article on Soap Central provides the name of the character Wes played on Days of Our Lives in 2009 for several episodes.

Wes Ramsey played Owen Kent on Days of Our Lives in 2009, but there haven’t been any official announcements recently that he will either reprise the Owen Kent character on Days, nor that he has been cast as any new character. His Twitter account’s most recent entries are about his exit from GH as Peter August and where actors sometimes put a show they’re currently on shows “between here and there”, although that could simply refer to where he’s at during any given moment.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Who Was Owen Kent On Days Of Our Lives?

Longtime Days of Our Lives viewers may remember Owen Kent from his short run from February to June 2009; he was a former informant for the DiMera family, former gardener for the Kiriakis family; and was on the run from the police since June 2009. Owen Kent had a romantic obsession for Stephanie Johnson (Shelley Hennig) and kidnapped her and held her hostage in May 2009. He fed information about the Kiriakis family to the DiMera family and when Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) kidnapped Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) and E.J. DiMera (now Dan Feurreriegel) contacted Owen and ordered Owen to kidnap Stephanie.

Owen took Stephanie to his father’s mortuary and held her hostage by keeping her in one of the drawers; but as the time grew nearer to turn her over to E.J., Owen changed his mind. He became obsessed with Stephanie, and later Melanie Jonas (Molly Burnett), Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), Bo Brady (Peter Reckell), Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) were able to rescue Stephanie.
