DOOL Spoilers: Harris Michaels’ Dramatic Return, Whose Side Is He Really On?

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) will have quite a bit of explaining to do after the event depicted on Beyond Salem Season 2 earlier this year. Fans may remember that Harris was apparently working for Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) as a mercenary for hire. His mission was to find one of the three infamous prisms that when put together contained the technology to cure or heal any medical illness or injury, even ones thought to be impossible at the moment.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Harris Michaels Lived In Salem Many Decades Ago

Harris grew up in Salem and even shares a bit of a past with another former Salem resident Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva). After that, Harris spent most of his life as Navy SEAL. A few years ago, Harris left the miliary although the exact reason for his departure remains unclear. He then began working for Megan to track down one of the prisms. Harris’ search led him to Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) who Harris began to pursue romantically after killing the two informants who had informed him that Hope may have already found the first crystal.

DOOL Spoilers – Harris Michaels Kidnapped John Black And Steve Johnson!

Harris told Hope he was still a Navy SEAL which took him away from her sometimes for weeks at a time. This gave Harris the freedom to carry out more of Megan’s plans which this past summer involved kidnapping both John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Steve Johnson (Stephan Nichols) and giving them both to Megan. Megan then brainwashed both John and Steve in order to make them retrieve another one of the mysterious prisms. After he delivered both men to his boss, Harris returned to further his fake romance with Hope in order to find out if Hope had actually found one of the gems.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Was Harris Michael Brainwashed By Megan Hathaway?

Megan’s plan began to fall apart but she got away and did manage to complete her ultimate goal of retrieving all three prisms. But Harris was shot after failing to kill Hope per Megan’s commands. Hope visited with a recuperating Harris, who was convinced that Megan had brainwashed him as well. Hope admitted the thought had crossed her mind and she promised that she would have ISA Agent Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) look into the matter. When Harris finally arrives in Salem early next year, look for him to inform both Steve and John that he had indeed been brainwashed. If anyone should give Harris the benefit of the doubt, it would be Steve and John, since they have both been placed under someone else’s control over the years. It may take a while to completely gain their trust, but if Harris is telling the truth both Steve and John will eventually begin to trust him.
