But TR set up his heroin dealer to take the fall for him, but viewers now know without a doubt that TR is just as dangerous as Paulina Price (Jackee Harry). Look for things to be touch and go for a while but Eli should eventually recover. But his brush with death will certainly make both Eli and his wife Lani Price (Sal Stowers) questioning their future on the Police Force!

Eli has always loved bring a cop. He’s good at it and there are never a shortage of crimes in Salem to investigate. But he’s a parent now, and this is the first time since Lani gave birth that either of them have been injured in the line of duty. Eli will start to wonder if its fair to his twins that both of their parents are in a position to be taken from them in an instant. So assuming Eli survives, he may insist that at least one of them find a job where they aren’t risking their lives everyday,

DOOL Spoilers – Lani Price Will Remain On The Force!

Once the dust settles, Lani will realize that Eli is right. But she doesn’t think that both of them need to make a career change. Since if Eli survives, he will take a long time to recover. Lani will suggest that she stay on the force at least while Eli is recuperating. He will agree that if Lani doesn’t want a less dangerous job, then perhaps its time for him to do something different! Lani will suggest that he look into becoming a private investigator!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – A Private Investigation Company Might Be A Great Fit For Eli Grant

While there would still be some danger in a Private Investigator job, Eli would be able to pick and choose his clients. Perhaps he could still use his skills from his years in law enforcement without putting his own life in danger. Perhaps he could work with John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) at Black Patch. But with more of a guarantee that at least one of them will have a safer job. Eli will support Lani’s decision to remain a cop. It’s a career that both of them love and he will make it clear that he supports whatever Lani wants to do. And perhaps, if Eli makes a full recovery someday they can switch but for now it looks like Eli will have long road ahead of him.
