On the eve of her wedding to Xander Cook (Paul Tefler), Sarah went to the offices of Basic Black in order to pick up her wedding dress. She was completely confused when she actually saw Kristen there. Kristen was supposed to be in prison at the time.

What Sarah actually saw was Kristen because she had switched places with Susan Banks (also Stacey Haiduk), her doppelganger, and convinced Susan to serve in prison for her while Kristen made sure that the love of her life Brady Black wasn’t getting too close to Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin).

Not wanting Sarah to reveal the switch, Kristen tried everything she could to get Sarah to keep quiet. But it was to no avail. So Kristen had no choice but to imprison Sarah. Sarah tried to get free and found a needle with drugs in it. Not knowing what was in the syringe Sarah lunged at Kristen. But in their struggle it was Sarah who ended up taking the unknown drug. Kristen then impersonated Sarah and made it look like to everyone in Salem that Sarah had left with Rex.

It turned out it was a powerful mind-altering drug that had also been used on Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) months earlier. It took Abigail months to recover and she also needed to take medication to overcome the drugs effects. But Sarah didn’t have the benefit of that as Kristen shipped her off to a deserted island.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Dr Sarah Horton Has Not Had The Benefit Of Medical Treatment!

Since she’s been shipped off to an unknown location, it’s unlikely that Kristen or anyone else has provided Sarah with any type of medical supervision. That means most likely she is still not in her right mind. Even as Abigail and Xander race to find the missing Sarah, they may be in for quite a shock when they see her current state. She may likely be having hallucinations and seeing things that aren’t there just like Abigail did.
